How long does a tankless water heater installation take?
Most installations take 4 to 6 hours, depending on whether you are replacing an existing tank and how extensive the gas line or venting modifications are. We provide a specific timeline during your assessment. Complex installs may take longer.
What is the difference between condensing and non-condensing units?
Condensing models, at 90 percent-plus efficiency, extract heat from exhaust gases and require plastic vent pipes and condensate drainage. Non-condensing models are simpler to install but less efficient. Condensing systems cost more upfront but save significantly on gas bills over time.
What size tankless water heater do I need?
Sizing depends on your simultaneous hot water demand. A single bathroom might need 6 to 8 GPM, while a family of four with multiple bathrooms and a washing machine usually needs 10 to 14 GPM whole-home. We calculate this during our site visit by factoring in peak usage, not guesses.
Does my gas line need to be upgraded for a tankless system?
Often yes. Tankless systems require more gas flow than tank water heaters, so we inspect your existing gas line during assessment. If it is undersized, we recommend an upgrade and explain the cost before proceeding, so there are no surprises on installation day.
Will a tankless water heater save money on my energy bill?

How long until hot water reaches my bathroom faucet?
